In 1925, Pratt & Whitney began designing engines for the aircraft industry. This table was bought from an architect from Orange, California who had this very table for some 30 odd years prior to me acquiring it. He didn't know anything about it, not even the brand. So, after some cleaning and removing of paint I found the tag and discovered it was originally from Pratt & Whitney.

Even though this table seems to have been heavily used, it still operates flawlessly. A sure tribute to quality in design and production.
